Post Op Supplies

Post Op Supplies, a photo by NoEscape21 on Flickr. (IF YOU CLICK ON THE PHOTO YOU CAN SEE MY NOTES :P )

Went shopping tonight and got most of my post-op supplies at wal-mart. I ordered a cute turquoise jersey fabric robe online (12 bucks and only a couple bucks shipping).

I also contacted Syntrax and am getting 13 sample packets of Nectar protein for 13 bucks. Everything from Walmart came to a lil under 100 and aside from getting chicken broth cubes, jello and crystal light I will be ready to go and have most of what I need when I get home. YAY!

Still no Passport for Madi, but if it doesn't get here by Saturday the representative's office said to call them again to let them know. So far still doing pretty good with my pre-op diet. accidentally when slightly over my carb limit (by a few grams) but overall I am going strong.

Thanks Manda! I actually think I have a sleeping mask and ear plugs around the house. That's a good idea!

C. Claus- thanks I cant wait for it to get here so I can wear it around the house with my new slippers hehe! I've been curious about the fuzzy navel flavor and I saw on obesity help someone posted the deal for 13 samples for 13 bucks! That should cover my first week of all clear liquids! I just realizes also that my ticker is now in single digit days! woohoo

Best of luck on your VSG. I have actually been researching a revision in Mexico.

Girl is that a sippy cup? Those will give you lots of extra air if you use them. Who are you having do you work? I had Dr Aceves and he was OUT OF THIS WORLD WONDERFUL! You also want some antibacterial soap for when you get home. Some gauze and medical tape (the big squares of gauze).

Thanks, Jenn, for the visual :) It really helps me in my shopping. My surgery is the week after yours and I am way beyond excited, but also nervous. Having others go through this process is comforting!

Dee- what would be the best thing to prevent extra air while keeping me sipping? I didnt really notice extra air when I tested that out and that was what was suggested to me *shrugs*

Maria- I think it was Aceves that I heard is great with revisions down there.

Sandy-glad it helps! Dont forget chapstick! I luckily found some :) Packing the majority tomorrow! YAY! Best of luck with your surgery ! You going local or traveling for it?
